National Professional Learning Cohorts

Code.org partners with select United States-based organizations to help spread computer science in a local, sustainable fashion. Our network of Regional Partners are working towards the goal that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science. As an established K-12 computer science hub for their region, Regional Partners offer professional learning opportunities for teachers and building a strong local community.

If your Regional Partner is not offering a specific program, you can join a virtual cohort of teachers from another region.

Professional Learning Program
CS Discoveries

CS Discoveries is Code.org's most flexible course, allowing each unit to be taught alone, combined into collections that focus on specific areas, or as a full year course. The free curriculum introduces students to building their own websites, apps, animations, games, and physical computing systems.

There are several national cohorts being supported by Code.org’s Regional Partners. While programs vary slightly, the program includes:

  • A multi-day virtual summer workshop.
  • A year-long, facilitated program to support implementation of CS and AI Foundations.
  • Scholarships are available for qualified applicants.

Complete the application, and Code.org will review your application and contact you with options for joining a virtual cohort of CS Discoveries teachers from another region.
